Chapter 79 - The True End
Alejandro didn't flinch at the pain. The years of polished corporate civility vanished, replaced entirely by the ruthless street fighter who had conquered the Mexican slums.
Daniel lunged forward, aiming the knife at Alejandro’s chest.
Alejandro sidestepped the feral attack. He grabbed Daniel’s knife arm with both hands, using Daniel's own momentum against him. With a brutal, calculated twist, Alejandro snapped Daniel’s wrist.
Daniel screamed, dropping the blade.
Before the knife hit the ground, Alejandro caught it mid-air. In one fluid, seamless motion, he drove the blade deep into Daniel’s chest, directly into his heart.

Daniel gasped, his eyes wide with shock. The manic fire in his gaze suddenly extinguished, replaced by the cold, hollow realization of his own mortality. He stared at Alejandro, blood bubbling over his lips, before his knees gave out.
Alejandro pulled the blade free and stepped back. Daniel collapsed into the mud, lifeless. The fake heir, the monster who had terrorized them for years, was finally, truly dead.
