The Black Book
I began executing a data-wiping algorithm I had prepared in advance. This algorithm wouldn't just hack into the underground financial system; it would trace the Organization's entire network to crash them simultaneously.
"I need fifteen minutes to freeze and disperse all this money," I said, my fingers flying across the keyboard.
"Do it," Daniel replied, his eyes focused on the vault's entrance.
However, the bank's security system suddenly emitted a low, rumbling alarm. The lights shifted to a flashing red.
"Illegal financial intrusion detected," a mechanical voice announced. The massive steel doors of the vault area began to slowly close.
"They found out," Daniel drew the suppressed pistol hidden under his suit jacket. "This bank doesn't allow a total asset withdrawal without direct verification from the Council."

"I just need three more minutes!" I yelled, fighting through the bank's final firewall.
"I'll hold the door," Daniel said, lunging toward the closing steel door and wedging a metal wedge into the gap to keep it open.
