Chapter 4 - The Humiliation Begins

Valeria froze completely, her eyes widening as if she had just heard the most horrific insult on earth. She slowly lowered her cell phone, staring intensely at Camila.
"What did you just tell me to do?"
Valeria hissed, her voice rising to a shrill, piercing pitch.
"To wash the plate for me. The sink is right next to you,"
Camila repeated, maintaining her calm, unshakeable composure.
"Who do you think you are?"
Valeria snarled, stepping forward aggressively.
"Do you think carrying the Santillán name gives you the right to order me around? I am the daughter of this house, and you are just a lucky commoner who managed to step foot in here!"
At that exact moment, heavy, angry footsteps echoed from the hallway. Rodrigo stormed into the kitchen, having heard the entirety of Camila’s request. His face instantly flushed a dark, violent shade of crimson, veins pulsing visibly at his temples.
"What the hell is all this noise?"
Rodrigo roared.
"Look at what your wife is doing!"
Valeria instantly whined, pointing an accusatory, manicured finger directly at Camila’s face.
