Patricia clicked to the next slide. A high-definition video file began to play.
It was the footage from the Valle de Bravo kitchen. The entire boardroom held its breath as the deafening, brutal sound of the slap echoed through the surround-sound speakers. Everyone watched Rodrigo viciously strike Camila. They watched Doña Elvira sip her tea in complicit silence. They watched Valeria spitefully pour her coffee onto the floor. And finally, they saw Rodrigo violently push Lupita.
"You set us up!"
Rodrigo screamed, ripping off his sunglasses, his eyes bloodshot and frantic.
"You secretly spied on my family!"
