Chapter 53 - The Geneva Summit

The drive from Geneva to Zurich was a masterclass in high-speed evasion, with Marcus utilizing secondary mountain roads to bypass the heavily monitored federal highways. Olivia spent the agonizing three-hour journey coordinating a specialized, localized strike team in London to secure Aris’s parents. She utilized every remaining favor and dark-web contact the foundation possessed. By dawn, she received a single, encrypted confirmation code.
She turned to Aris, who was staring blankly out the rain-streaked window. "Your parents are secure, Aris. Our team breached the house and neutralized the threat. They are being moved to a safe location right now."
Aris gasped, a profound, shuddering breath of absolute relief washing over her. She looked at Olivia, her eyes shining with unspeakable gratitude. "Thank you. Thank you, Olivia. Now, let’s go destroy Elias Blackwood."
Zurich was a stark contrast to the violence they had left behind. It was a pristine, glittering city of wealth and immaculate order. The World Health Summit was being held at the Grand Congress Center, a massive architectural marvel of glass and steel heavily guarded by Swiss police and private security contractors.
Marcus parked the SUV in a subterranean parking garage a mile away. Olivia opened the trunk, pulling out two sleek, tailored corporate blazers and forged, high-level VIP credential lanyards Marcus had synthesized during the drive.
"We look like executives," Olivia noted, adjusting her collar and hiding the payload drive securely inside an inner pocket. "But the biometric scanners at the primary entrances will instantly flag us as anomalies."
"We aren't using the primary entrances," Marcus smiled grimly, handing Olivia an encrypted tablet. "I’ve hacked the building’s automated environmental control systems. I’ve scheduled a routine maintenance flush for the subterranean cooling towers at exactly 9:00 AM. The security blast doors in the sub-basement will open for exactly forty-five seconds to vent the exhaust. That is your window to enter the master server vault."
"And Arthur?" Olivia asked, the crushing anxiety for her partner threatening to break her composure.
May you like
"Arthur is a ghost, Olivia," Marcus assured her gently. "If anyone can survive a tactical breach, it’s him. But right now, you have to focus. Blackwood takes the stage in exactly one hour."
Olivia nodded, locking her fears in a steel box deep within her mind. She wasn't just a mother today; she was the architect of an empire's destruction. She and Aris stepped out of the vehicle, walking briskly toward the glittering convention center, ready to plunge a digital dagger directly into the heart of Ouroboros.
