The following week, Eleanor called a massive, highly publicized press conference in the grand lobby of Crawford Headquarters.
Dozens of journalists and financial analysts gathered, eager for news.
Eleanor stepped up to the podium, looking elegant and entirely at peace.
"For forty years, I have built this empire with my own two hands,"
Eleanor announced, her voice echoing powerfully through the microphones.
"But every queen must eventually pass the crown. Effective immediately, I am officially stepping down as the CEO and Chairwoman of Crawford Global Enterprises."
The press gasped, camera flashes erupting in a blinding wave of light.
"I leave this company in the hands of the most brilliant, capable, and ruthless leader I have ever known,"
