The boardroom of Crawford Global Enterprises was a monument to absolute, terrifying corporate power.
Sitting at the head of the massive obsidian table was Evangeline Crawford.
She wore a sharp, tailored slate-gray suit, her posture impeccable, her eyes sharp and commanding. She had fully embraced her true identity. Over the past year and a half, under Eleanor's fierce tutelage, Evangeline had transformed into a brilliant, ruthless, and highly respected CEO.
She possessed the empathy to build communities and the absolute ruthlessness to destroy anyone who attempted to threaten her family.
"The acquisition is complete, Ms. Crawford," her chief operating officer reported, handing her a thick file. "We have successfully dissolved the remaining assets of the syndicate’s front companies. They are completely eradicated from the global market."
Evangeline nodded, signing the document with a sleek silver pen.
