Chapter 47: The Battle of Greenwich
The Thames was a churning mass of black water as three high-speed armored interceptor boats flew toward the Greenwich pier.
Sarah stood at the bow of the lead boat, the wind ripping through her short hair, the tactical shotgun held tight against her shoulder. Arthur sat behind her, holding a pressure bandage over his chest, his eyes fixed on the massive white superyacht idling near the pier—The Sovereign.
"They've got automated turrets on the upper deck!" Arthur shouted over the roar of the engine. "We can't get within fifty yards without getting shredded!"
"Then we don't go by water," Sarah said.
She looked up at the towering steel cables of the Millennium Dome nearby. Her father’s chopper was already hovering above them, a heavy steel cable trailing down into the dark.

"Arthur," Sarah said, looking down at the man who had shot her mother twenty years ago. "If you want to redeem your flag... hold the line on the pier."
Arthur looked at her, a slow nod of understanding passing between them. He didn't ask for forgiveness. He just reached into his vest and handed her his backup piece—a sleek, black Sig Sauer P320.

"Bring her back, Sarah," Arthur said.
He jumped from the speeding boat onto the wooden pilings of the pier, his shotgun already barking as he engaged the Consortium guards on the dock.
