Chapter 17 - The Financial Guillotine
"Will you write exactly what you just told me on a sworn piece of estate stationary?"
William asked.
"Yes, sir. I will,"
Maria said firmly.
Once Maria left to draft her confession, William pulled out his personal phone.
He didn’t call the police; he knew dealing with a master manipulator required taking away her power.
He opened his encrypted messaging app and selected his private wealth manager in New York.
"Freeze the primary household operating accounts ending in 4492 and 8810,"
William typed with lethal precision.
"Deactivate all supplementary Black Cards issued under Eleanor Sterling’s name, and revoke her signatory access to the family trust."
He hit send.
The reply came back ten seconds later.
"Done. Access revoked."
