Teresa shifted the luxury car into drive.
She pressed her designer shoe against the accelerator. The massive, heavy vehicle lurched forward.
First, it moved slowly, the tires splashing through the deep puddles on the road. Then, the engine roared louder, picking up terrifying speed as it barreled straight toward Valeria.
