Chapter 16 - The Monster Emerges
In the distance, the faint, wailing sound of approaching sirens began to cut through the storm. Passing drivers on the distant overpass had witnessed the catastrophic collision and called emergency services.
Everything seemed to be over. They were safe.
But then, the crumpled driver’s side door of the black sedan groaned loudly and was pushed open.
