Chapter 7 - The Chilling Sentence

The driver's side window of the black sedan rolled down just a few inches.
The cold wind carried Teresa’s voice across the fifty feet of wet asphalt. It was completely devoid of empathy, lacking even a shred of human emotion.
"Today, it all ends,"
Teresa stated coldly.

Valeria closed her eyes for a fleeting instant. The horrifying reality of the situation crashed down upon her. This was not a warning. This was an execution. Teresa intended to run her over, making it look like a tragic, fatal hit-and-run in a terrible storm.
She was going to murder her own grandchild just to purify the family bloodline.
