Chapter 57 - The Mountain Raid

On the thermal satellite feed, four massive, heat-blooming signatures descended rapidly from the cloud cover over the Jalisco mountains. They were SEIDO tactical Blackhawk helicopters, moving with terrifying speed and precision.

In the subterranean bunker in Coyoacán, Emily and Sarah watched the silent raid unfold like a highly choreographed digital ballet.

The helicopters hovered directly over El Fantasma’s compound. Dozens of heavily armed, elite federal operatives rappelled down onto the rooftops and into the main courtyards, completely catching the cartel forces by surprise. Thermal flashes on the screen indicated brief, violent firefights as the perimeter guards attempted to resist the overwhelming federal assault, but they were quickly neutralized.

"They breached the main structure," Sarah reported, pointing to a cluster of thermal signatures moving aggressively into the central building where El Fantasma’s server farm was located.

Inside the compound, chaos reigned supreme. El Fantasma, realizing his impregnable fortress had been catastrophically compromised, desperately attempted to execute an emergency data wipe on his servers. But the federal operatives breached his command center doors with explosive charges, swarming the room before he could even touch the keyboard.

On the satellite feed, Emily watched as a large group of operatives dragged a struggling, frantic figure out of the main building and into the center of the courtyard. They forced him to his knees, securing him with heavy zip-ties.

"They got him," Emily whispered, a profound sense of relief washing over her. "El Fantasma is captured."

"And they secured the servers," Sarah added, her fingers flying across her keyboard to sever their connection and erase their own digital tracks. "The government will seize the hundred million dollars. El Fantasma's entire operation is permanently dismantled. The threat is completely eradicated."

Emily leaned back in her chair, exhaling a long, shuddering breath. She had faced down a ruthless cartel boss without ever leaving her home, using intellect and precision instead of brute force. The war was finally over.
