Chapter 54 - The Vault in Zurich
The flight to Switzerland was a blur of calculated silence. Arthur landed in Zurich as the cold, gray dawn broke over the majestic Alps. He wasted no time. Dressed in a bespoke, immaculate Italian suit and carrying a slim leather briefcase, he presented the perfect image of a high-net-worth European investor.
He walked confidently through the grand, polished marble doors of the Zürcher Kantonalbank. He approached the highly secure subterranean vault desk, presenting the flawless forged identification documents Sarah had prepared for him.
"I require access to box 814," Arthur requested, his voice a smooth, cultured baritone that betrayed no hint of urgency.
The bank manager meticulously verified the documents, nodded politely, and escorted Arthur down into the heavily fortified, climate-controlled vault. Left alone in a private viewing room, Arthur opened the steel box.
He punched in the access code Emily had provided: the date of the canceled wedding that had sparked this entire war.
The lock clicked heavily, and the lid sprang open.
Inside rested a small, titanium-cased USB drive. It was the master override key, holding the fate of a hundred million dollars and the safety of Coyoacán.
Arthur didn't hesitate. He pulled a highly advanced, encrypted satellite laptop from his briefcase and booted it up. He inserted the titanium drive into the port and established a direct, hyper-secure uplink to Sarah’s servers back in Mexico.
"Sarah, Emily," Arthur spoke into his encrypted earpiece. "I have the drive. Initiating the secure data uplink now. Do you have the package?"
In the subterranean bunker beneath the Coyoacán villa, Sarah’s monitors erupted with a flurry of green data streams.

"I'm receiving the encryption keys, Arthur!" Sarah cheered, her fingers flying across the keyboard to integrate the data into her transfer protocols. "The biometric lock is bypassed. We have total control of the Swiss account."
"Excellent work," Emily said, leaning over Sarah’s shoulder, her eyes fixed on the screen. "Initiate the transfer to El Fantasma's routing numbers. Send the Trojan Horse."
