Chapter 53 - The Swiss Contingency
Emily immediately ended the visitation, leaving Victor alone with his profound misery, and quickly exited the fortified walls of Altiplano. She climbed into the back of the waiting armored SUV, where Arthur was already reviewing flight manifests on his secure tablet.
"Did he give it up?" Arthur asked, shifting the heavy vehicle into gear.
"He broke," Emily confirmed, buckling her seatbelt. "There is a physical bypass drive. It’s sitting in a safety deposit box in Zurich. Box 814 at the Zürcher Kantonalbank."
Arthur’s expression tightened. He glanced at the digital clock on the dashboard. "We have less than thirty-six hours before El Fantasma’s deadline expires. Commercial flights won't cut it. I am chartering a private, supersonic Gulfstream jet. I will fly to Switzerland immediately, retrieve the drive, and transmit the data back to Sarah."
"You can't go alone, Arthur," Emily protested, her protective instincts flaring. "It’s a massive risk."
"I am the only one who can navigate a high-security Swiss bank without raising international red flags," Arthur stated with absolute authority, navigating the chaotic Mexican traffic. "I have the forged documentation and the necessary aliases. You need to stay here in Coyoacán. If El Fantasma launches a premature strike, Lily needs her mother to defend the fortress."
Emily knew he was right. They had to divide and conquer to meet the brutal deadline.
Four hours later, Arthur boarded the sleek, black private jet at a remote airstrip outside Mexico City. Emily stood on the tarmac, watching the aircraft soar into the night sky, carrying their only hope for survival.

She returned to the villa, descending directly into the subterranean command center. Sarah was already preparing the digital battlefield, writing the complex, malicious code for the Trojan Horse virus they intended to slip into El Fantasma’s network.
"The virus is ready, Emily," Sarah reported, her eyes glued to the glowing monitors. "The moment Arthur uploads the bypass key from Zurich, we initiate the transfer. When El Fantasma accepts the funds, this code will rip through his firewalls and expose his exact GPS coordinates."
