Chapter 37 - A New Chapter

With Chloe at college, Arthur finally had time to focus on himself.
He threw himself into his architectural firm, taking on a massive, highly creative project to design a new community center downtown.
One afternoon, while reviewing blueprints on site, he met the lead structural engineer, a sharp, incredibly intelligent woman named Sarah.
"You miscalculated the load-bearing stress on the western archway, Arthur,"
Sarah pointed out, tapping a red pen against the blueprint without a shred of hesitation.
Arthur blinked, surprised by her bluntness, before a genuine laugh escaped his chest.
"You are absolutely right. I missed that entirely,"
