Ramón looked at the rusted wheel, then back at the burning valley he had sworn to protect.
"I did not survive the drought, the predators, and the thieves just to watch my home burn to ash!"
Ramón roared with a primal, terrifying ferocity.
He wrapped his massive, scarred hands around the iron spokes. He didn't just use his muscles; he channeled the sheer, absolute will of a man whose entire soul was tied to the earth beneath his feet.
"Push!"
