Chapter 30 - The FBI Arrives
Two days later, the corrupt sheriff sat comfortably in his office, completely unaware of the storm descending upon him.
The doors of the precinct were violently thrown open.
A dozen federal agents wearing dark windbreakers flooded the room, carrying federal warrants.
"What is the meaning of this?"
The sheriff demanded, standing up in shock.
"You are under federal indictment for extortion, bribery, and corruption,"
The lead agent stated, slapping the handcuffs onto the sheriff's wrists.
Another agent walked directly back to the holding cells and unlocked the heavy iron door securing Ramón.
"You are free to go, Mr. Silva,"

Ramón walked out of the cell, adjusting his vintage Omega watch, completely unbothered.
