Chapter 34 - The Son's Path

Julian was fifteen years old when he walked into Daniel’s home office overlooking the ocean.

"Dad?"

Julian asked, sitting down in the leather chair across from the desk.

"What's on your mind, Jules?"

Daniel smiled, closing his laptop.

"I want to volunteer at the foundation this summer,"

Julian stated, his dark eyes filled with a fierce, absolute determination.

"I want to help the legal team process the intake files. I want to do what you and Mom do."

Daniel looked at his son. He saw the pure, uncorrupted goodness in the boy's heart. He was not poisoned by greed or arrogance. He was entirely made of light.
