Chapter 30 - The Federal Handover
The next morning, Daniel bypassed the local authorities entirely.
He walked directly into the FBI Field Office, demanding a meeting with the lead agent of the Public Corruption Task Force.
He slammed the decrypted files onto the federal agent's desk.
"What am I looking at, Mr. Vance?"
The agent asked, examining the documents.
"You are looking at the financial execution of William Croft,"
Daniel stated smoothly.
"He bribed a federal judge to freeze a domestic violence charity, and he is currently running a massive money-laundering syndicate through his shipping ports. The primary witnesses are already secured in my private custody."
The federal agent’s eyes widened as he read the undeniable, flawless paper trail.
