Chapter 24 - The Iron Heiress Awakens

The small apartment above the bakery was transformed into a war room by midnight.

Isabella sat cross-legged on the floor, surrounded by three glowing laptops and a mountain of digital tablets. She was operating in a state of absolute, calculated flow, tapping into the encrypted, backdoor corporate networks she had personally designed before her departure.

Amelia brought her a fresh cup of coffee, sitting quietly beside her.

"Victoria thinks I abandoned my leverage when I walked out the front doors,"

Isabella murmured, her fingers flying across the keyboards.

"She forgot that I was the one who hid her bodies. I know every single offshore account, every illegal tax evasion scheme, and every corrupt politician she has on her payroll."

"Can you access the mortgage for the bakery?"

Amelia asked hopefully.

"I am doing much more than that,"

Isabella replied, a dark smirk crossing her lips.

"I am currently rerouting the ownership of this entire commercial block into an impenetrable, anonymous trust managed by a server in Switzerland. By the time the sun comes up, Victoria won't even own the air above this street."

"She is going to be furious,"

Amelia noted, a shiver running down her spine.

"I am counting on it,"

Isabella said coldly.

"Furious people make mistakes. And Victoria Harrington is about to make the biggest mistake of her miserable life."
