Valeria sat at a secondary terminal, holding Aria in one arm while she typed with the other.
"If we go to Geneva, we might not come back," Valeria said softly, looking at her daughter.
"We have to," Daniel replied, placing a hand on her shoulder. "If we don't cut off the head of the snake, Aria will spend her entire life looking over her shoulder."

"Then we make sure Vanguard dies, even if we do," Valeria stated. She began compiling the unencrypted files. She sent massive data packets to trusted investigative journalists in London, New York, and Tokyo, locking them behind a dead man's switch.
"If I don't reset this timer every twenty-four hours," Valeria explained to Jax, "all of Vanguard’s secrets go public. The politicians will be ruined, the billionaires will be indicted, and the Vanguard will burn in the light of day."
