Chapter 25 - Aria

Just before dawn, the blizzard finally broke. The morning sun breached the treeline, casting a brilliant, pristine light across the snow.
Inside the cabin, a new sound pierced the silence—the sharp, healthy cry of a newborn.
Daniel sat on the edge of the bed, tears streaming down his face as he carefully wrapped the tiny infant in a warm, sterile blanket. He handed the baby to Valeria, who was exhausted, sweating, but radiating an absolutely breathtaking joy.
"She's perfect," Valeria wept, gently touching the baby's tiny fingers.

The infant opened her eyes. They were a striking, vibrant shade of violet—a brilliant, undeniable hallmark of the genetic enhancements of Project Genesis. She was a scientific miracle, but to Daniel and Valeria, she was simply theirs.
"Aria," Daniel whispered, kissing Valeria's forehead, then kissing his daughter. "Her name is Aria."
