Chapter 32 - The Hidden Accounts

Faced with spending the rest of his life in federal prison, the cowardly executive completely broke.
"He uses the prison laundry service!"
Sterling sobbed frantically.
"The trucks that deliver the clean uniforms! The driver is on my payroll. Daniel writes the account numbers and the encrypted orders on the inside of the collars using a piece of graphite. The driver brings them to me."
Mateo closed his eyes, taking a deep, shuddering breath. His brother was locked in a cage, yet he was still actively orchestrating the destruction of their family.
"Give me the account numbers,"
Mateo commanded.
"If I give them to you, Daniel will have me killed!"
"If you don't give them to me, I will completely ruin your family's financial legacy,"
Mateo countered with absolute, terrifying ruthlessness.
Sterling trembled violently, finally whispering a long, complex string of alphanumeric codes.
Mateo walked out of the interrogation room. He handed the codes directly to his lead cyber-security expert.
"Drain them,"
May you like
Mateo ordered coldly.
"Take every single cent Daniel has hidden across the globe, and donate it anonymously to the domestic violence shelters in the city. I want him entirely, permanently bankrupt."
