Chapter 18 - The Fall of the Matriarch
In a desperate bid to save himself, Daniel turned against his own mother. He took the stand and testified that Teresa had manipulated him into loosening the screws and cutting the curtain.
"She told me the baby would ruin us," Daniel wept on the stand, trying to garner sympathy. "She forced me to do it!"
