Inside the vault of the central bank, Mateo, Valeria, and their newly hired corporate attorney opened the steel lockbox. Inside lay a pristine, wax-sealed envelope and a small vial of blood for DNA verification.

"It is airtight," the lawyer announced. "Don Alejandro left fifty percent of the entire estate, including controlling voting shares of the company, to Mateo. The other fifty percent was left to Daniel. However, a morality clause states that if either heir commits a felony against the family, their shares are forfeited to the remaining heir."
Valeria smiled, looking down at her sleeping baby. "Daniel just forfeited his entire life."
