Chapter 33 - The Boardroom Monarch

Three months later, Valeria officially took her seat at the massive mahogany table in the executive boardroom of Grupo Villalobos.
She wore a sharp, tailored crimson suit, her hair pulled back into a sleek, professional bun. The board of directors, powerful men and women who controlled billions of dollars in global assets, watched her with intense, respectful curiosity.
Elena sat at the head of the table, but she gestured for Valeria to take the floor.
"Good morning, everyone,"
Valeria began, her voice projecting with undeniable, natural authority.
"For the past quarter, I have been reviewing our acquisition strategies in the northern industrial sector. I have identified a critical weakness in one of our competitors."
She tapped her tablet, bringing up the financial portfolio of a mid-sized construction and logistics firm based in Monterrey.
It was the exact same company that had fired Diego on Elena's orders.
"Their stock is currently plummeting due to poor management and a recent scandal involving corrupt mid-level executives,"

Valeria explained smoothly.
"I propose a highly aggressive, hostile takeover. We will buy them out, liquidate their underperforming assets, and absorb their contracts into our primary logistics division."
