Chapter 37 - The Complete Monopoly

The trading floors across the globe hummed with a terrified, awe-struck energy. The news of the Archon Group’s total financial collapse had shattered the markets, but the vacuum was instantly, ruthlessly filled.

Victoria sat in the glass-walled boardroom of the corporate headquarters. The twelve senior board members were gathered around the obsidian table. Their posture was rigidly respectful. There was no hesitation, no whispered dissent. They looked at Victoria not just as their Chairman, but as an untouchable deity of commerce.

"The liquidation of the Archon assets was completed at midnight," Sterling announced, his voice trembling with a mixture of fear and profound reverence. "Our holding companies have absorbed their tech infrastructure, their real estate portfolios, and their shipping lines at pennies on the dollar. The empire’s valuation has doubled."

Victoria’s facial expression remained an impenetrable mask of stoicism. She did not smile. She did not offer congratulations. The cinematic realism of her dominance required no celebration.

"Consolidate the tech infrastructure into our primary security grid," Victoria whispered, her baritone-soft voice commanding absolute attention. "Sell the real estate portfolios to blind trusts. I want the Archon name completely erased from every public ledger, every deed, and every corporate registry by Friday."

Sterling nodded frantically, typing the orders into his encrypted tablet.

Victoria stood up slowly. The sheer, intimidating presence of her posture silenced the breathing of every executive in the room.

"We do not share power," Victoria murmured quietly, her dark eyes scanning the terrified faces of her board. "We do not negotiate with coalitions. We dictate the reality of this market. Are we clear?"

"Crystal clear, Madam Chairman," the board answered in panicked, synchronized unison.

Victoria turned and walked out of the boardroom, leaving a legacy of absolute, chilling monopoly in her wake.
