The peace of their corporate victory lasted for three incredible, highly profitable years before a new silhouette appeared on the horizon.

It was a quiet Tuesday evening. Ethan and Olivia were reviewing structural expansion plans in the penthouse when David, their chief of security, walked in with a grim expression.

"We have a situation, Ma'am,"

David reported smoothly.

"What kind of situation?"

Ethan asked, instantly dropping his pen, his protective instincts flaring.

"A massive, anonymous hedge fund has been aggressively buying up our supply chain vendors over the last two weeks,"

David explained, placing a dossier on the desk.

"They are trying to choke our manufacturing lines."

Olivia opened the file, her sharp, analytical mind instantly connecting the dots.

"Who is the primary shareholder of the hedge fund?"

"A man named Silas Thorne,"
