Elena returned to the city with a crystal-clear, uncompromising strategy. The Syndicate was incredibly skilled at hiding their digital tracks, but Julian had provided one crucial, tiny piece of evidence before being handed over to the authorities: a single, highly encrypted IP address used for his blackmail communications. Elena’s elite cybersecurity team spent three grueling, sleepless days tearing apart the encryption layers, tracing the signal through a convoluted maze of offshore servers.
Finally, they managed to break through the final firewall. The IP address led directly to a massive, heavily fortified private server farm located in Geneva, Switzerland. The server was registered to a holding company named Apex Solutions.
Elena stared at the name on the glowing screen, her mind racing to connect the dots. "Marcus, run a comprehensive check on Apex Solutions. I want to know every subsidiary, every board member, and every major financial transaction they have made in the last decade."
Two hours later, Marcus rushed into her office, carrying a thick, printed dossier. His face was flushed with adrenaline.
"Apex Solutions is a massive shell corporation," Marcus explained rapidly, dropping the file onto her desk. "But if you peel back the complex legal layers, the primary shareholder is a man named Victor Vance. He is the CEO of Global Resource Extraction, a massive mining conglomerate that has been desperately trying to secure rights to the mineral-rich land in the southern district."

We effectively blocked his multi-billion dollar mining project by turning the land into a protected environmental sanctuary."
Victor Vance was The Architect. He wasn't acting out of a historical vendetta; he was trying to destroy the Foundation to remove the only obstacle standing in the way of his immense corporate greed.
