Chapter 36 - A Peaceful Arrival

The labor began quietly on a rainy Tuesday night.

There was no screaming, no public humiliation, and absolutely no panic.

Daniel calmly packed my hospital bag, held my hand as we walked to the car, and drove us to the private maternity ward with steady, focused precision.

The hospital room was quiet, dimly lit, and incredibly serene.

The nurses were kind, and Daniel never left my side for a single fraction of a second. He held my hand, breathing with me through every contraction, offering me a profound, silent strength.

"You are doing perfectly, my love,"

Daniel whispered, pressing a cool cloth to my forehead.
