We had exactly three weeks before Elliot Pierce was scheduled to take Apex Dynamics public on the New York Stock Exchange. We spent every single second of those twenty-one days building a legal and digital guillotine.
While David masterfully spoofed Maya’s biometric signal—sending Elliot's private security teams on wild goose chases across Europe—Elena and I orchestrated a massive, covert legal strike.
"Elliot’s entire IPO valuation is based on the claim that his predictive algorithms are built on ethically sourced, anonymous consumer data," Elena explained, spreading a web of corporate filings across our war room table. "If we can prove he is actively using his own company’s proprietary, unapproved biomedical hardware to illegally track a domestic victim, the SEC will halt the IPO, and the FBI will raid his servers."
"We need the medical records from the private clinic that performed the surgery," I stated, tapping the whiteboard. "If he bribed the surgeon, there is a financial trail."
"I already found it," David called out from his server rack in the corner. "The clinic in San Francisco received a two-million-dollar 'anonymous' research grant from an offshore shell company exactly two days before Maya’s surgery. I traced the routing numbers. They lead directly back to Elliot’s personal holding trust."
"That’s the smoking gun," Elena smiled a fierce, predatory smile. "That proves conspiracy, medical malpractice, and illegal wiretapping. It’s a guaranteed federal indictment."

I looked at the calendar. Elliot was hosting a massive, highly exclusive pre-IPO gala for his top-tier investors at a luxury hotel in Manhattan the following night. He was going to stand on a stage and sell them a lie built on his wife's terror.
"We aren't going to quietly file a lawsuit," I said, grabbing my briefcase. "Elliot thinks he is the smartest man in the world because he operates behind firewalls and algorithms. We are going to rip him out of the digital world and confront him in reality. Elena, call the SEC enforcement division. Tell them to meet us in New York."
