Chapter 25 - The Expansion
The foundation was growing faster than we had anticipated.
We were receiving requests from other cities.
Other communities asking for help.
Alessandro called a meeting.
"We are going national," he announced to the team.
It was a massive undertaking.
It meant more work, more travel, more responsibility.
But it also meant we could help more people.
I was hesitant at first.
"Are we ready for this?" I asked him later that night.
"Are we biting off more than we can chew?"
He took my hands.
"We have built a strong foundation here. Now we share it."
We spent the next few months traveling.
Setting up new offices.
Meeting with community leaders.
It was exhausting.
But it was exhilarating.
We were seeing the impact of our work firsthand.
We were seeing lives change.
And everywhere we went, we carried the story of Daniel.
