Chapter 9 - The First Strike

|
The financial execution of the first three brothers began at 9:00 a.m. the following morning.
Vincent, Marcus, and Leo were the architects of the family’s failing real estate empire. By 9:01 a.m., they realized exactly what it meant to fight a ghost who owned the banking system.
Vincent was sitting in his luxury downtown office when the FBI raided the building.
My hackers had planted indisputable digital evidence of international money laundering, wire fraud, and human trafficking on Vincent’s personal servers. The feds didn't just seize his assets; they seized his freedom. News cameras filmed Vincent weeping as he was dragged out in handcuffs.
Marcus tried to run.
He booked a private charter flight to Argentina. When his car arrived at the tarmac, he wasn't greeted by a pilot. He was greeted by the Internal Revenue Service armed tactical unit. Every dime he had ever hidden offshore was suddenly transferred to federal accounts. He was left with nothing but the clothes on his back and a tax evasion charge that carried a twenty-year mandatory sentence.
Leo thought he was smarter.
He went to his secret safety deposit box to retrieve three million dollars in diamonds he kept for emergencies. When he opened the box at the bank, it was empty, save for a single piece of paper.
I own the bank, Leo.
Within three hours, the eldest three brothers were bankrupt, publicly disgraced, and sitting in federal holding cells, denied bail by a judge who conveniently owed his entire career to my political action committee.
I watched the news coverage from the screens in my war room.

It wasn't enough. They were in prison. They were safe.
I wanted them exposed.
