Chapter 30 - The Eternal Dawn

Evelyn Carter stood on the balcony of Blackthorn Manor, looking out over the sprawling estate.
Below her, the sanctuary was waking up. She could hear the faint sound of coffee brewing, the chatter of women preparing for their day, the laughter of children running across the lawn.
The cold, oppressive shadows of Adrian Vale were permanently eradicated, washed away by the brilliant, unyielding light of a new dawn.
She took a deep breath. The air was crisp, tasting of morning dew and absolute freedom.
