With the threat eradicated, the Blackthorn Sanctuary evolved from a place of hiding into a place of empowerment.
Evelyn used a portion of the foundation's funds to build a new wing dedicated entirely to education and career training. Women who had arrived with nothing were now taking coding classes, learning financial literacy, and studying for their degrees.
She walked through the new classrooms, listening to the hum of focused, driven women.

"I know," Evelyn smiled, touching the pendant at her neck. "I feel her here every day. She taught me how to endure. But these women... they are teaching me how to fly."
