The revelation sent shockwaves through the entire syndicate world.
By blood, I held the legal right to claim all remaining Moretti assets, shipping lines, and vaults across Europe and America. Bianca Moretti was nothing more than the daughter of a usurper who had stolen my birthright.
Two weeks later, Dominic brought me to the grand vault beneath the Rossi estate.
In the center of the vault stood a velvet pedestal. Resting upon it was a new ring—a flawless five-carat emerald surrounded by black diamonds, designed specifically for me.
Dominic picked up the ring and turned to face me. He dropped to one knee, looking up into my eyes with pure, unadulterated love.
“Skyler Vance-Rossi,” Dominic said, his deep voice resonating in the quiet vault. “You came into my life as a humble maid, but you showed the strength of a true queen. You saved my mother, you reclaimed your birthright, and you captured my heart.”
He reached for my hand.
“Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife, my co-ruler, and my equal?” he asked softly.
Tears of absolute joy washed down my cheeks. I nodded, my voice trembling with happiness.

“Yes, Dominic! Yes!” I cried out.
He slipped the emerald ring onto my finger—a perfect fit. He stood up and pulled me into his arms, kissing me with a fierce, passionate hunger that made the rest of the world fade away.
