Chapter 23 - Return to the Roots
Four years of college passed in the blink of an eye.
Lily graduated with high honors in Social Work.
Numerous international organizations offered her positions.
But the day after receiving her diploma, Lily rolled her suitcase straight back to the Hargrove estate.
Ethan and Rosa were surprised to see their daughter standing at the door.
"Are you just visiting?" Ethan asked.
"No," Lily smiled brilliantly. "I came back to work."
She pointed toward the bustling shelter complex.
"Does the Director of The Tomorrow Foundation need to hire more staff?"
Rosa ran forward and threw her arms around her daughter.
"There is always room for you."
Oliver had also returned after earning his Architecture degree.
