Chapter 11 - The Promise Becomes Reality
One month after the promise under the oak tree.
Ethan called his legal team.
Not to discuss acquiring tech companies.
But to establish a charity foundation.
"What is the name of the foundation, sir?" the lawyer asked.
Ethan looked out the window, where Rosa and Lily were planting new flowers.
"The Tomorrow Foundation," he replied.
"What is its purpose?"
"To give fractured families a chance to start over."
The lawyer hesitated.
"This is a massive shift from your previous investments."
Ethan smiled.
"This is the most profitable investment I have ever made."
When the paperwork was finalized, Ethan brought it home.
He placed the folder on the dining table.
Lily ran over, standing on her tiptoes to look.
"What is this, Daddy?"
"This is your idea."
Rosa stepped closer, reading the words on the cover.
Tears filled her eyes.
"Ethan..."
"Nobody has to wait to be loved anymore," Ethan repeated his daughter's words.
Lily threw her arms around her father's legs.
