Adrian was convicted of assault along with multiple financial offenses tied to the conspiracy.
Several members of the Caldwell family faced separate criminal proceedings for fraud, forgery, witness intimidation, and conspiracy.
The family empire was dissolved under court supervision.
Properties obtained through fraudulent transfers were returned to their rightful owners whenever possible.
Months later I unlocked the front door of my Mission Bay condo.
The morning sunlight spilled across the hardwood floors exactly as it had the day I bought the place.
