Chapter 35 - The New TribeThe grand opening was a quiet affair.

No red carpets. No press. Just an open door and a chalkboard sign on the sidewalk that read: "Come create."

By the afternoon, the space was filled with strangers.

A young student sketching charcoal portraits. An elderly woman aggressively splashing vibrant reds and yellows onto a canvas. A quiet teenager sitting in the corner, mixing watercolors.

Nobody asked about her past.

Nobody cared where she came from.

They only knew the woman standing before them: confident, welcoming, and deeply observant.

A woman named Clara walked up to her, holding two cups of coffee, and handed her one.

"This place," Clara said, looking around the bustling studio. "It feels safe. Like the walls are protecting us."
