Chapter 30: A New Chapter

Back in the hospital room, Elara looked away from the news screen and back out the window. The sun was fully up now, warming the glass. She felt broken, yet paradoxically, more whole than she had in her entire life.
She turned to Julian, her voice stronger this time. "What happens now?"

"Now," Julian said softly, smoothing the blanket over her uninjured shoulder, "you heal. We go to court. We tell the truth. And then... you do whatever you want."
A new chapter of survival, truth, and unyielding strength had begun. The heiress who was supposed to die on the marble floor had become the woman who refused to be silenced. The road ahead would be long and agonizing, but as Elara looked at the sunlight streaming into the room, she knew she would walk it. And she would never look back.
