Chapter 19 - RECLAIMING THE CROWN|

Six months later.
The annual Manhattan Business Leadership Council was holding its grand reopening at the newly constructed Russo Tower glass atrium.
The city's power brokers stood in tight groups, sipping vintage wine and watching the grand glass elevator descend from the top floors.
When the doors opened, Dominic Russo stepped out, looking regal, powerful, and absolute in his authority.
Beside him walked Nora Russo—his wife, his partner, and the official co-chair of the entire Russo Logistics Corporation. She wore a stunning royal blue gown, her confidence radiating through the grand hall like a beacon of absolute grace.
"They said he lost everything a year ago," a billionaire property mogul muttered to his associate.
"He didn't lose anything," the associate replied, watching Dominic wrap his arm lovingly around Nora's waist. "He just traded glass for diamond."
Dominic raised his glass to the crowd, taking the microphone at the center stage.
"A year ago, I believed that power was built on control, money, and fear," Dominic spoke, his baritone voice filling the silent room. "I was wrong. True power is built on trust. It is built on the people who stand beside you when the lights go out."
