Chapter 15 - The New Dawn|

Three months later.

The news of the Sterling family’s arrest had sent shockwaves through Boston society. Sterling Holdings had collapsed, while Whitmore Development’s stock hit an all-time high under Ethan’s bold leadership.

At the Whitmore estate, things were different now.

The toxic culture of fear had been completely dismantled. Naomi had restructured the security team, hiring veterans from Mara Caldwell’s academy. The house staff received wage increases and better hours, creating a genuine sense of loyalty throughout the mansion.

Naomi no longer wore the pale gray maid uniform. She moved through the estate in tailored blazers, respected by everyone from the head butler to the senior board members.

Yet, every night at midnight, she still walked down to the kitchen.

Ethan was sitting at the island, reviewing financial reports on his tablet, when he heard her soft footsteps. He looked up, a warm smile spreading across his face.

"Couldn't sleep?" he asked.

Naomi set a hot cup of tea beside his tablet. "I brought you tea."

"I actually asked for it this time," Ethan chuckled, pulling her down into the seat beside him and kissing her cheek.

"How are the quarterly projections?" she asked, leaning against his shoulder.

"Better than expected," Ethan said, putting the tablet away. "Which means I can finally take two weeks off."

Naomi raised an eyebrow. "Two weeks? Where are we going?"

"Paris," Ethan whispered in her ear. "Just the two of us."
