Chapter 10 - The Corporate Architect

The third video shifted to the corporate headquarters.
It clearly showed Renata, the supposedly innocent mistress, sitting at Claudia’s desk. Renata was carefully, methodically forging Claudia’s signature onto dozens of legal corporate transfer documents.
The final video was the most devastating for Julián's business reputation.
It showed a clandestine meeting at an exclusive restaurant in Polanco. Julián was sitting with a notorious medical supplier—a man currently under federal investigation for knowingly selling defective heart valves to public clinics in northern Mexico. Julián was accepting a thick envelope of cash across the table.
"This is completely fabricated! Those videos are deepfakes!"
Julián screamed hysterically, his perfectly tailored suit now looking disheveled as he sweated profusely.
"These files have been independently certified by three separate federal cyber-security experts,"
Esteban explained calmly to the judge.
"And they were secretly backed up on six external, encrypted servers located completely outside of Mr. Salvatierra's control."
This revelation exposed the massive, arrogant blind spot that had ultimately doomed Julián.
Claudia was not a trophy wife. She was not a decoration.

Before they had ever married, Claudia had personally designed the digital auditing software that had secured the company’s very first major hospital contracts. She knew every single access point, every firewall, and every server protocol.
For ten agonizing years, while he kept her imprisoned in a life of physical and emotional terror, she had been quietly, methodically archiving every piece of evidence. Not out of a desire for petty revenge, but because she knew that when she finally made her escape, she would need absolute proof to survive.
