Adrien’s Perspective.
When I walked back through the doors of the new syndicate headquarters, the atmosphere was thick with tension. Simone had acted fast. Heavily armed loyalists—her men—patrolled the grand foyer.
"Adrien," Simone stepped out of the study, wearing a tailored white suit. She looked perfectly composed, but the micro-tremors in her hands gave away her fear. "Where have you been? We have a situation. Victor has gone rogue."
"Has he?" I asked, walking slowly toward her, unbuttoning my soaked suit jacket.

Simone lunged for the drive, but I caught her wrist, twisting it sharply until she gasped in pain.
"Play it," I ordered the tech in the corner.
The video illuminated the massive projector screen. Simone’s voice echoed through the war room, exposing her betrayal to every captain in the family.
Simone stopped struggling. She looked around the room, realizing the men she thought were loyal to her were now looking at her with absolute disgust. In our world, killing a boss’s wife and child wasn't a strategic move; it was a death sentence.
"Adrien, wait—" Simone begged, backing away as I drew my pistol.

"You turned my grief into a weapon, Simone," I said coldly.
I didn't hesitate. I raised the gun and pulled the trigger.
