Back in New York, the culture of Bennett Global continued to evolve into something entirely unrecognizable from its aristocratic roots.
Charlotte had one final initiative she wanted to launch before the end of the fiscal year. She called a company-wide town hall meeting in the main lobby of the Monarch Grand.
Hundreds of employees gathered around the grand staircase—housekeepers, chefs, bellmen, accountants, and executives all standing together.
Charlotte stood on the landing, holding a microphone.
"Two years ago, this company underwent a massive, painful transformation," Charlotte began, her voice echoing warmly off the marble walls. "We removed the people who believed that ownership meant unchecked power, and we instituted a culture that values equity, transparency, and mutual respect."
The employees listened in absolute, respectful silence.
"But I want to ensure that our commitment to this community extends beyond our current staff," Charlotte continued. "Today, I am incredibly proud to announce the creation of the Monarch Educational Trust."
She gestured to Ethan, who unveiled a large informational placard.
"Bennett Global will now fully fund a comprehensive, four-year university scholarship program available exclusively to the children and legal dependents of our hourly hospitality staff," Charlotte announced, her voice ringing with pride. "If you work in this building, your children will have the financial support to pursue any educational dream they desire, completely debt-free."
The lobby erupted.
It wasn't just polite applause. It was a massive, joyous roar of cheers, tears, and overwhelming gratitude. Housekeepers hugged each other; chefs pumped their fists in the air.
Charlotte watched the celebration from the stairs, tears pricking her own eyes.
This was the true power of wealth. Not hoarding it in offshore accounts, not using it to intimidate or belittle others, but weaponizing it to violently break the cycle of poverty and open doors for the people who actually kept the world running.

Maria, the senior housekeeper, pushed her way to the front of the crowd, her face covered in happy tears. She looked up at Charlotte and simply mouthed the words, Thank you.
Charlotte nodded back, her heart completely, undeniably full.
