Ten minutes later, the heavy hydraulic door of the jet lowered once more.
Damian Ricci stood at the bottom of the stairs, his gun lowered, waiting in the misty silence of the tarmac.
Wren stepped out of the cabin. Her trench coat was pristine, her dark eyes clear and triumphant. She held a heavy black leather folder in her hand—the Donati family’s secret European financial ledgers.

Damian looked at her, his heart swelling with an pride and love so deep it felt like an anchor in his chest. He reached out, wrapping his hand around hers, taking the heavy folder from her fingers and tossing it to Luca.
He pulled her close, kissing her deeply under the cold, falling mist of the New York sky—a kiss that sealed an empire born of blood, vengeance, and unshakeable loyalty.
"What now, my Queen?" Damian asked softly against her lips.
Wren looked toward the rising sun breaking through the gray clouds over the city skyline. She clicked open the scratched silver lighter in her hand, watching the blue flame spark to life in the morning air.
