Chapter 13 - The DNA Revelation|

The following morning, Adrien held a private family gathering in the estate’s sunlit dining room.
Marcus Vance arrived carrying a thick leather briefcase containing the completed legal trust documents and the certified DNA profile.
"Rosa," Marcus said respectfully, laying the papers before her on the mahogany table. "As the sole child of Clara Hastings, you are legally entitled to your mother's full inheritance, including twenty-five percent ownership of Hastings Enterprises and a private trust valued at eighty million dollars."
Rosa gasped, covering her mouth with both hands. "Eighty... eighty million?"
"It's yours, Rosa," Adrien said gently, sitting beside her. "My father and Richard Cole stole it from your mother twelve years ago. Today, it comes back to where it belongs."
Rosa looked at the legal papers, tears filling her dark eyes. "I spent three years working two jobs just to afford Mia's milk and diapers... I can't believe this."
"You'll never have to worry about milk, diapers, or rent ever again," Adrien promised, squeezing her hand tightly.
Suddenly, Marcus's phone chimed sharply. He checked the screen, his expression instantly darkening.
"Adrien," Marcus said quietly. "The SEC just issued an emergency subpoena. They're demanding all financial records from twelve years ago. Richard Cole submitted a forged signature page claiming your father gave him voting power over Clara's shares."

Adrien stood up, his posture turning as cold and hard as steel.
"He's using the forged document," Adrien said, a lethal glint in his eyes. "Good. He just walked right into our trap."
