CHAPTER 9: REBUILDING FROM THE ASHES
Peace of mind brought positive changes to my life.
Previously, when living with Marissa, my electronics retail store was always on the verge of bankruptcy. I used to think it was just a tough market, but I now realized that having my money constantly siphoned away by Marissa (without my knowledge) and the endless arguments at home had drained my energy and focus completely.
A few months after the trial, I decided to pour my heart into reopening my struggling store.
This time, I wasn't alone. Without a wife constantly belittling my career, I found support from the people who truly cared about me. Longtime friends, former colleagues, and even customers in the community returned to support me when they heard my story.
No longer weighed down by toxic, dark clouds draining my energy, my mind became sharp. I found new suppliers and improved customer service. The company began to thrive.

Every evening when I came home from work, parking in front of the blue house, seeing the warm yellow light spilling from the kitchen window, and smelling my mother's homemade stew, I felt a powerful surge of vitality in my chest. For the first time in years, hope and a true love for life had returned.
